Addition of 3 new warehouses due to surge in demand

GigaCloud is continuing to invest in its U.S. fulfillment infrastructure to support growing activity on its B2B Marketplace. This year, the company added three new warehouses in the United States—bringing its U.S. total to 14 and global count to 21, with over 4.3 million square feet of warehouse space.

The new facilities are located in Atlanta (650,000 sq. ft.), Los Angeles (430,000 sq. ft.), and Dallas (650,000 sq. ft.), marking the company’s first warehouse in Texas. Each site was selected with access to major roadways in mind to help support nationwide fulfillment.

Construction of the Dallas warehouse was completed last month, following Los Angeles in August and the California warehouse in September. These additions give GigaCloud more space to support its expanding SKU count and growing logistics network.

GigaCloud has steadily increased the volume of products shipped daily from its global warehouse network. In 2021, the company reached a record average of 17,400 packages shipped per day—13,000 of which were fulfilled from its U.S. warehouses.

GigaCloud’s U.S. President, James Moberly, shared his thoughts on the expansion:

“We are excited to have added three new warehouses with more than 1.6 million square feet of space to our network. With ongoing global supply chain challenges and many of our customers facing storage limitations, this additional space has provided some much-needed relief. We plan to continue expanding to meet future demand.”

The new facilities have also played a key role in supporting the company’s flat-rate pricing under its Cloud Wholesale Fulfillment (CWF) offering.

Industry-wide, warehousing demand has continued to grow—driven in large part by the rise of ecommerce. GigaCloud anticipates this trend will persist in the U.S. and is evaluating opportunities to further expand its fulfillment infrastructure. While the timing and location of future sites have not yet been finalized, expansion remains part of the company’s strategic roadmap.
