Helping Families Rebuild: GigaCloud’s $1M+ Furniture Donation in Action

Earlier this year, we donated more than $1 million in home furnishings to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) to support the ReBUILD LA™ Wildfire Recovery campaign.

The devastating wildfires that swept through Southern California scorched tens of thousands of acres, destroyed more than 18,000 structures and forced widespread evacuations across many Los Angeles communities.

With nearly 5,000 furnishings spanning 90 SKUs, including beds, sofas, chairs and mattresses sourced through Restonic, GigaCloud’s contribution set a new standard for disaster relief support, helping families restore a true sense of home.

Since the donation, Habitat LA has already provided furniture to hundreds of families, helping thousands of people across Los Angeles County reclaim a sense of normalcy and comfort after the fires. The recovery work continues, with more homebuilding and furnishing efforts planned in the months ahead.
